dynasty Fantasy football
What is it and why we do it
Fantasy football is a game in which the participants serve as general managers of virtual professional American football teams. The competitors select their rosters by participating in a draft in which all relevant NFL players are available.
Dynasty leagues are drafted in the same way as traditional leagues, however they continue indefinitely. There will be a follow up draft each year for rookies
After years of playing in season-long leagues, each team owner in the Sundays Are For The Boys League knew there was a greater challenge out there. Through fate they found each other, and this dynasty league was formed.
The Monk
The ever desired trophy. It travels from champion to champion each year, at the expense of the most recent biggest loser.
Why is it called “The Monk”, you might ask? In the inaugural season of the league (2019), the trophy went to none other than Zach Colclasure, a.k.a Monkey Man. He petitioned to name the trophy after himself, “The Colclasure”. Not only did no one else in the league like that idea, the name just wasn’t catchy.
But then in the second season (2020), the champion was none other than Zach again. A most impressive and unrepeatable feat…it only felt right to name the trophy after him in some way, shape or form. Thus “The Monk” was born.
